The first rounds of the playoffs are scheduled to start the week of March 1^st  or March 8^th depending on last scheduled game on calendar.

In each division, except the JV Red American division, the 1^st place team hosts the 4^th place team and the 2^nd place team hosts the 3^rd place team. The winners of these games advance to the championship games. The following 10 championship games (all divisions except Senior and JV Red American Division) will be held at the Valley Middle School or Heights Elementary School in Oakland. Trophies will be handed out at the end of each game. Below is the schedule for the Championship games at VMS:

In the JV Red American Divisions1^st place hosts 8^th, 2^nd hosts 7^th place, 3^rd hosts 6^th place and 4^th hosts the 5^th place. The highest two seeds to advance host the next round. The winners of semi finals advance to Championship round at Glen Rock High School.  The Senior and JV Red American Division Championship games will be held at Glen Rock High School on Sunday March 14^th from 2 – 8pm.                                                    

Below is revised the Senior Championship schedule at Glen Rock High School:

2:15 pm – JV Red American

3:45 pm – Senior Red Central

5:15 pm – Senior Red American

6:45 pm – Senior Red National

8:10 pm – JV Red National (Tentative) only if Gym available if not then on 3/16 at Valley Middle school at 7:30 pm

If the gyms become unavailable, then the team with the highest seed will host the championship game at their home court on a mutually agreed upon date for both teams. Coaches will then make arrangements with me to pick up trophies.

All league games must be completed before the start of the first round. Games not completed will be counted as double forfeits.

 Over the last weekend I need winning coaches to call me at home – 201-337-1186 or email (Neil@JDCNY.org) me scores. This is very important so I can call coaches to tell them who they play in the playoff teams.

I will call coaches the Sunday before the first round of playoffs to confirm your position. If you finish in 1^st or 2^nd  place ( 3^rd and 4^th in  the JV Red American division) you must contact your 1^st round playoff opponent, as well as your referee assignor, to schedule playoff game and referees. Tentative meeting date for next year is 7 PM on Monday October 25, 2010 at Valley Middle School in Oakland.

Reminder - it is required that adults and not children handle the score clock and scorebook responsibilities.
